Our cleaning is of a very high standard and we are currently allowing 24 hours between guests to allow for thorough airing and cleaning of rooms. We will be following extra procedures such as steam cleaning soft furnishings, replacing mattress, pillow and duvet protectors at each changeover and using eco-friendly sanitising spray daily on high use touch points such as light switches, bannisters and door handles. Hand sanitiser dispensers are positioned as you enter the property, please ensure you use this before entering. Please be mindful of passing other guests on the stairs.
To protect both our guests and ourselves, we will not be doing room tidies for stays of less than 5 nights. We will leave a box outside your room for any used items such as crockery and glasses that you wish to be replaced and a bag in the wardrobe for dirty towels should you need them replacing. Please let us know if you need your water, milk or drink supplies replenishing.
We will be wearing face masks when serving breakfasts and would remind you that in Scotland face masks are mandatory in all shops/on public transport and areas where social distancing is difficult.
Dining Room/Guest Lounge:
We ask that guests use the sanitiser provided when they come into the dining room.
The dining room enjoys views over the garden where you will see a variety of birds on the feeders. You also have views across to the MacLeods Tables. Tables have been set at 2 metres apart, with the chairs facing away from the other table. Each table will have its own selection of cereals, milk, jam and butter.
Unfortunately to accommodate the distancing between tables we have had to remove the sofa and arm chairs. You are welcome to sit in the room in the afternoon using the dining chairs, we have left the TV in the room should you wish to use it.
Please feel free to use the room in the evenings if you wish to bring food back to consume. We are happy to provide plates and cutlery, just ask.
