We have successfully applied for the ‘Good to Go Industry Standard’ to show that we are following guidelines on cleanliness and social distancing.

Our cleaning is of a very high standard and we are thoroughly airing and cleaning all rooms.  We will be following extra procedures such as steam cleaning soft furnishings, washing mattress, pillow and duvet protectors regularly and using eco-friendly sanitising spray daily on high use touch points such as light switches, bannisters and door handles.  Hand sanitiser dispensers are positioned as you enter the property, and in each bedroom, please ensure you use this before entering.

Please be mindful of passing other guests on the stairs.

To protect both our guests and ourselves, we will not be doing room tidies for stays of less than 5 nights. We will leave a box outside your room for any used items such as crockery and glasses that you wish to be replaced and a bag in the wardrobe for dirty towels should you need them replacing. Please let us know if you need your water, milk or drink supplies replenishing.

We will be wearing face masks when serving breakfasts and would remind you that in Scotland face masks are mandatory in all shops/on public transport.

Dining Room/Guest Lounge:

We ask that guests use the hand sanitiser provided when they come into the dining room.

The dining room enjoys views over the garden where you will see a variety of birds on the feeders. You also have views across to the MacLeods Tables.  Tables have been set at 2 metres apart, with the chairs facing away from the other table. Each table will have its own selection of cereals, milk, jam and butter.

Unfortunately to accommodate the distancing between tables we have had to remove the sofa and arm chairs.  You are welcome to sit in the room in the afternoon using the dining chairs.
We have left the TV in the room should you wish to use it.

Please feel free to use the room in the evenings if you wish to bring food back to consume.
We are happy to provide plates and cutlery, just ask.

Check in  and check out:

We are now required to collect details of the lead guest who is staying. We will email you a registration form prior to your arrival. Please note that we will comply with GDPR rules when storing and using your data.

When you arrive, please stand back 2 metres from the door after ringing the bell.

We will take the balance of your stay via our booking system from the card you paid your deposit with on the day of your arrival. If you’d prefer to pay with another card please let us know before your stay and we’ll email you a payment link. On departure, please vacate your room by 10.30am. We need to leave the room to air for at least an hour after you’ve departed before we can start cleaning.

Please leave the key in the bedroom door on departure.

If you develop COVID-19 SYMPTOMS:

Prior to your visit, if you are booked to stay with us and develop COVID19 symptoms or have been asked to self-isolate, within 14 days of your stay, please let us know as soon as possible and as per government guidelines, do not travel.  Should you need to cancel within 7 days prior to your arrival we will refund your deposit, or but we will offer to move your stay to another date if you prefer.

If you develop COVID19 symptoms or are told to self-isolate whilst you are staying with us, as per government guidelines, we will ask that you let us know and return home immediately. In this case we will refund for the unused nights of your stay, minus any reasonable expenses we have already incurred related to your stay, such as food purchased for breakfast etc.  If you are unable or unwilling to return home, you will be charged in full for extra nights and meals incurred, and you will be required to self-isolate in your room.

If you develop COVID19 symptoms or are told to self-isolate within 14 days of staying with us, please email to let us know as soon as possible.

We would recommend taking out travel insurance before you travel.
